I did this watercolour at the very bottom of the tide, you can wade across to the beach and the boats are sitting on the sand just waiting for the tide to come racing back in again. 

The same place in size ours is so different, living by the sea I suppose I take tides for granted but for some they must really take some getting used to! Reproduction of the original watercolour.
