The Blue Lobster was a water colour I did to try and capture the beautiful blues of theirs creature. Water colour lent itself well to this and I also liked how the composition was so dynamic, they have a very powerful tail and in this pose they are ready to escape predators in a swish of their tail. This lobster was very much alive and I like to think that I captured this. The reproduction is of a high quality and does the original justice.
